Today we had Traffic Safety for lower and upper years.  For lower years we learned about how to walk on the street properly and how to cross the street properly.  We even practiced on some crosswalk mats individually with the help of the police officer.  The upper year students learned about bicycle safety.  This is especially important since they will be riding their bike to school when they enter Junior High School.  We also encourage you to speak to your child about traffic safety at home as well.  

今日は低学年と高学年で交通安全教室がありました。低学年は、道路の正しい歩き方と横断の仕方を学びました。警察官に手伝ってもらいながら、横断マットの上で個別に練習もしました。高学年は自転車の安全な乗り方について学びました。中学校に入学したら自転車で通学するので、特に大切なことです。ご家庭でもお子様と交通安全について話し合ってください。
