G2Class went on a field trip to Kiryugaoka Zoo with the objectives of learning about zoo animals, practicing cooperation, and following rules.
The students were divided into groups, each led by a group leader. They walked together in their groups, making sure to stay together at all times. Each group was allowed to explore different areas of the zoo, but they all followed the rules and behaved responsibly.
As they explored, the students carried a worksheet that guided their learning. They’ve discussed answers within their groups, which encouraged cooperation and teamwork.
The groups visited many animals, including penguins, flamingos, giraffes, lions, and monkeys. Students remained engaged in their tasks and showed respect for both the animals and zoo rules.
At lunchtime, the groups gathered at the picnic area. Students ate lunch with their group, chatted about their favorite animals, and cleaned up afterward. The lunch break provided an opportunity for the students to rest and enjoy time together.
The zoo field trip was successful in achieving its objectives. The students learned valuable information about zoo animals, practiced cooperation and teamwork, and followed rules responsibly. The experience was both educational and enjoyable, providing students with meaningful learning outside the classroom.
９月２２日、２年生は桐生が丘動物園へ校外学習に出かけました。今回の学習のねらいは、「動物について学ぶこと」「お友達と協力すること」「ルールを守ること」の3つです。
当日はグループごとに分かれて行動し、それぞれのグループにはリーダーがつきました。どのグループも仲良く協力しながら、園内を見学することができました。見学中には、ペンギンやフラミンゴ、キリン、ライオン、サルなど、たくさんの動物たちに出会い、子どもたちは興味津々でした。
子どもたちは、観察のヒントが書かれたワークシートを持ち歩き、グループで話し合いながら答えを考えていきました。お友達と意見を出し合う姿や、しっかりと話を聞く姿がたくさん見られ、協力する力がしっかり育っていることを感じました。
お昼はピクニックエリアで、グループごとにお弁当タイム！お気に入りの動物について楽しく話しながら、ゆったりとした時間を過ごしました。食後にはきちんと後片付けもして、ルールを守って行動する姿がとても立派でした。
今回の校外学習は、学びあり・楽しさありのとても充実した1日となりました。教室では体験できない学びを通して、子どもたちの成長を感じることができた一日でした。
